Shipping Policy
Delivery Areas
Home Sphere SA delivers furniture and home products across South Africa through our network of local business partners and delivery providers.
Delivery Fees
- A delivery fee applies to all orders unless otherwise stated.
- Delivery fees are calculated based on the delivery location and the size of the order.
Deposit Requirement
- A 50% deposit is required before any order can be processed and scheduled for delivery.
- Orders will only be prepared and dispatched once the deposit has been received and confirmed.
Delivery Times
- Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on product availability, supplier schedules, weather conditions, and location.
- Customers will be notified of any significant delays where possible.
Cash on Delivery (COD)
- Cash on Delivery is available only in selected areas approved by Home Sphere SA.
- Customers must confirm COD availability before placing an order.
- The remaining balance of the order must be paid in full upon delivery.
Receiving Deliveries
- Customers must ensure that someone is available at the delivery address to receive the order.
- Products should be inspected upon delivery.
- Any visible damage or missing items must be reported immediately before signing for the delivery.
Returns Policy
Damaged or Defective Items
- If an item arrives damaged or defective, the customer must notify Home Sphere SA within 48 hours of delivery.
- Clear photographs of the damage may be required to process a return or replacement.
Incorrect Items
- If the wrong product is delivered, Home Sphere SA must be notified within 48 hours of delivery.
- We will arrange collection and replacement of the item at no additional cost.
Return Conditions
To qualify for a return:
- The item must be unused and in its original condition.
- All original packaging, accessories, and documentation must be included.
- Proof of purchase must be provided.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items may not be eligible for return:
- Products damaged through misuse, neglect, or improper handling by the customer.
- Products that have been altered, assembled, or modified after delivery.
- Custom-made or special-order items unless defective.
Refunds
- Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method where possible.
- Delivery fees are generally non-refundable unless the return is due to an error by Home Sphere SA or a defective product.
- Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment method used.
Return Shipping Costs
- If the return is due to a defective product, damaged item, or an error by Home Sphere SA, return shipping costs will be covered by Home Sphere SA.
- For all other approved returns, the customer may be responsible for return shipping costs.
